Petrol prices fall by Nu 10.29/liter & Diesel by Nu. 7.75

To commemorate the 62nd Birth Anniversary of His Majesty The Fourth Druk Gyalpo, officiating Prime Minister, Lyonpo Damcho Dorji, in a press conference on November 10, 2017 announced that the prices of fuel will fall from 11:11AM on November 11, 2017.
“This is a gift from His Majesty the King to the people of Bhutan,” he said, adding that this will reduce the price of petrol by Nu. 10.29 and diesel by Nu. 7.75. per liter. It is a reduction of about 17 and 14 percents, respectively.
Similarly, Druk Holdings and Investment (DHI) celebrated 10 years of their journey, together with the 62nd Birth Anniversary of the Fourth Druk Gyalpo.
The gift was Bhutan Future Fund (BFF). DHI invested Nu. 300M for kick-starting the Fund.
Talking to the gathering at Royal Institute of Tourism and Hospitality (RITH), Thimphu, Chairman of DHI and companies, Dasho Sangay Khandu, said BFF will safe guard the Nation’s wealth for the future generation and also help people in the future.
The day also saw DHI and Companies launch a book, -DHI’S Journey, the last 10 years. Awards to longest serving and performing employees were given. Chief Executive Officer’s of DHI companies were given mementos.
