The State Trading Corporation of Bhutan (STCB) had launched the new models Toyota Innova Crysta, Fortuner and Coaster on July13, 2017 at Taj Tashi.
The minister of economic affairs (MoEA), Leki Dorji, who graced the event, said that although the market in Bhutan is small, there are many people who love different brands of automobiles. “And Toyota is one of the oldest brands to enter Bhutan,” he said.
“Toyota cars are favourable considering our rough terrains. It is strong and excellent on our roads,” he said.
During the launch, managing director of STCBL, Yeshey Seldon, said that STCB had come a long way and still have a long way to go. “We are striving to become the best cars agent and service provider in the country,” she said.
“We aiming to provide the suitable cars for the Bhutanese roads and the people,” she said, adding that the customers will find the value and prestige that goes beyond their expectations.
Meanwhile, STCB aims to provide their customers a sense of pride in owning a vehicle with ful-fledged 4WD capability and also enhanced all-terrain capabilities that will satisfy even the most demanding customer.
